Life in the countryside: memories of growing up in Novi Pazar

This article analyzes records from the field research by the narrator Želimir Glišović, focusing on his childhood in the village of Kosuriće, near Novi Pazar, his upbringing in the countryside, youth and the people who marked that period. The research material consists of transcripts divided into segments—childhood and rural life; anecdotes and stories about supernatural phenomena; and village customs. The field research was conducted in May 2024 in Belgrade, at Ž. G.'s home.
