A Handkerchief Full of Lilac Bećarac from Šajkaška—Fieldwork Material

In the course of ethnological and folkloristic research lasting from 1986 to 1990 in the villages of Šajkaška (a region in southeastern Bačka), the author collected a great number of bećarac songs, out of which 116 are presented in this paper.
